I’m a Unified Mindfulness Trainer/Teacher based in China. I began meditating around 2013 while studying in the United States, and over the years I’ve explored a wide range of spiritual teachings, including Zen, the Diamond Sutra, A Course in Miracles, and the teachings of David R. Hawkins.
When I discovered Unified Mindfulness, I was especially drawn to its precision, comprehensiveness, and adaptability. It helped me bring together years of spiritual study and turn meditation into a more systematic practice that could be applied not only in formal sitting, but throughout daily life.
I’m particularly interested in “monasticizing the day”: bringing mindfulness into ordinary moments such as working, commuting, parenting, relationships, and emotional challenges. I currently co-teach a Chinese online meditation community of more than 500 members and am helping introduce Unified Mindfulness to a growing community of practitioners in China.
I used to work as an architect, in a demanding and fast-paced environment. I eventually left architecture and now have a slower-paced day job that gives me more space for practice, teaching, and family life. These days, some of my favorite moments are very ordinary ones: taking walks with my wife, playing Nintendo Switch with my son, and laughing with my parents when I see them each weekend.
