Nestled in the hills of upstate New York, I live in deep relationship with the land, surrounded by tens of thousands of acres of state forest in the small town of West Fulton. This natural sanctuary informs every aspect of my work, healing and practices.

A spontaneous awakening in my late 40s catalyzed a profound shift in my life’s direction. With no teacher or practices in place to integrate this experience, out of necessity I created practices that assisted me in grounding and incorporating the overwhelming event. Years later, discovering Unified Mindfulness was an ecstatic revelation! — an entire system that mirrored what I had been intuitively doing. It offered the structural support that ignited my meditation practice with an internal fire that continues to burn.

For over a decade I have worked closely with a healer who was trained in a traditional Native American doctoring lineage as well as the internal Chinese healing arts. The middle art of his three-hour sessions center on embodied presence practices and they became my crucible for transformation on deep levels.

I facilitate ongoing silent meditation sits and a Women’s Healing Circle grounded in “feel-in” practices, an embodied invitation to deepen concentration, sensory clarity, equanimity, and connection with self and world. My approach weaves together Unified Mindfulness techniques with somatic awareness and breathwork to support holistic healing and transformation.

My personal practices include biannual vision quests going four days and nights of fasting alone in the wilderness, regular participation in Inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies, meditation retreats as well other intensive practices.

In addition I serve as a HUD-certified housing and financial counselor at a nonprofit organization. There, I support clients in navigating the complexities of state and federal home repair grants and helping them maintain equanimity and agency throughout the process.
