I’m a life long teacher, artist, and meditator. I have a background that includes a variety of traditions and I look at life through an integral lens.
I’ve cared for a mother in law with Alzheimer’s, parents with cancer, and raised a stepson who is blind. For fifteen years I taught at an individualized self-paced alternative school.
I am skilled at customizing my approach to meet the needs of individuals. I’ve taught people of all ages from 4 to 94, and currently teach adults in a variety of settings including classes at Suncoast Technical College.
Teaching is in my DNA and as soon as I learn something interesting or helpful I am seeking ways to share it with others. I think teaching art, facilitating a creativity group, or helping people learn Mindfulness skills gives individuals tools and strategies for improving their lives.
It’s rewarding to see people discover previously unrealized talents, and to take people to a doorway where all sorts of new possibilities can unfold for them. It is my joy and privilege to assist people in finding ways to live a more enjoyable life.
