Rob uses meditation in his chosen sport of ultrarunning; mindfulness techniques have helped him run 300 miles across Tennessee, 200 miles across Sumbawa Indonesia, and the 150 mile Coast to Kosciuszko race in Australia.
As well as concentrating on his own personal running, Rob coaches numerous ultra runners using his program known as Mind Focused Running. Unified Mindfulness meditation techniques play a central role in helping athletes achieve their goals and aspirations.
While Rob turned towards meditation to improve his sporting performance he claims an even more important outcome has been the incredible benefits that meditation and Unified Mindfulness has brought to his overall life. Rob says “athletes come to me hoping that meditation will help their sport, three months into the program they all tell me how much better their life is; that is so rewarding.”
