She is a Unified Mindfulness L2 Coach, and also draws her teachings from trainings and certifications in Mindful Self-Compassion; Mindful Motherhood; Mindfulness Based Symptom Management; Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T); Mindful Kids; and Mindful Schools Educator Essentials.
A long time meditator in the Soto Zen tradition, Erin came to teach mindfulness and mindful self-compassion to a broader audience through her interest in and scholarship on Contemplative Education. She has a particular passion for how mindfulness modalities help in education, parenting, and with issues of social justice, including empowering girls and women. She loves the UM suite of techniques because they integrate so seamlessly into everyday life, and help people (herself included) make real, sustainable change possible!
Using an evidence-based approach that integrates mindfulness and self-compassion, Erin guides and supports you not only as you develop or deepen your practice, but also as you learn to integrate mindfulness into your daily life, increasing your basic level of mindfulness and your overall well-being. She’s there to celebrate the wins with you, and support you through the challenging times as you develop or deepen your mindfulness practice.
