In stumbling through life, I’ve found that mindfulness helps steer me away from the cliffs before I fall off of them. I’m still groping around for the best way forward, but am grateful to everyone who is willing to creep out into the unknown with me.

I’m a former English major who tries to think in terms of natural systems as much as possible (I think of myself as an armchair evolutionary biologist), but I’m willing to throw up my hands and say “Who knows?” when the world seems to exceed my understanding of it–which does happen every now and again : )
